Client: Cushcore

CushCore patented tire inserts transform tubeless tyres into a suspension system controlling compression and rebounding forces, applying constant pressure on the tyre sidewalls to provide protection and stability even at lower pressures.

Working with Aspect Media, we built a cross-section of a wheel to be able to seamlessly transition from downhill shots right into the inner workings of the tyre to show what CushCore is doing during high performance riding - featuring recently crowned downhill World Champ Reece Wilson.

Working closely with the CushCore team, the animations were built to best demonstrate the specific key attributes of the inserts, from how they compress to protect rims from big hits to the support of the side walls through hard corners.

These were then composited into scenes built in 3D space to match the terrain of the shots they were transitioning from.
